General information

The cover is designed to fit only the IKEA Söderhamn chaise longue. The frame measures 93 cm in width, 151 cm in depth and 83 cm in height.

About the design

The cover comes in Minimalist Fit. This model has a cover for the entire frame including the seat section, which is placed on top of the seat cushions and fastened along the back support frame and sides with Velcro strips. The hem of the cover touches the floor and is designed to skim the floor surface, which gives a neat and smooth impression when the fabric is correctly fitted. The cover is designed to skim the floor, adjust accordingly so that the fabric does not bunch up and gives a smooth and neat impression. The cushion covers for the back cushion and decorative cushion close with a zip.

Assembly instructions

• Remove the original covers together with the back and decorative cushions, the seat cushion can remain in place.
• Drape the cover along the back.
• Gently pull the cover over the frame.
• Adjust the seams on the cover so that they lie in line along the centre of the back support.
• Adjust the fabric so that it covers the seat cushions and let it fall towards the floor.
• Align the seams on the seat section with the corners of the seat cushion.
• Velcro strips are fastened to the back support and along the sides of the chaise longue to hold the seat cushion and fabric in place.
• The fabric should be completely smooth when correctly fastened.
• Place the cushions in the cushion covers, close the zip and put in place.
