What furniture do Bemz legs fit?
Our legs fit most IKEA models and many other brands of sofas, armchairs and storage furniture. This is because most furniture uses M8 screw fittings for legs. If your furniture is not compatible with an M8 screw, you can use a Bemz mounting plate (sold separately) to attach Bemz legs.

If your IKEA model isn’t listed, or you’re unsure if your furniture fits Bemz legs, it’s easy to check compatibility. Try unscrewing the existing legs to see if they use M8 fittings. If your furniture doesn’t have M8 fittings, it’s no problem. You can still use Bemz legs with a mounting plate.

Need a mounting plate?
Probably not. For most IKEA sofas and armchairs, you simply have to swap the old legs for the new ones. But, for the perfect fit, some models need a universal mounting plate. Don’t worry though, because that’s easy to apply too. Take a look at our 2-step guide:

Wipe legs with a damp cloth as needed. Legs can loosen with use – occasionally check they are well tightened.
