Amanda Axelsson is a Swedish designer and visual creative, living just outside Gothenburg with her partner Mathias and their two children. In 2021, they began transforming a former family house into their own expressive home.

When a home reflects how you live, not just what you like.
Your best interior choice?
Keeping a soft, cohesive colour palette as a base and letting materials, colour, and form in the details do the work.
The most “you” piece in your home?
The built-in furniture! Not always perfect but full of process, craft and our passion for creating.
One small tweak that made a big expression?
Letting our home evolve at a calm pace and scaling back details rather than adding more. That’s made it easier for me to introduce colours and patterns.
