These General Terms and Conditions exclusively regulate the offer, transmission and acceptance of purchases made on our website www.bemz.com and any purchases made with us in our store. The terms and conditions are valid between you and Bemz AB and apply for delivery of our products to the address that you have specified in your order. The owner and operator of this website is Bemz AB, a Swedish limited company registered in Sweden with company organisation number 556664-6633, and with a registered office located at Birger Jarlsgatan 79, 113 56 Stockholm, Sweden +46 8-518 001 50, and a showroom at Odengatan 22, 113 52 Stockholm, Sweden

To purchase at our website, you must be at least 18 years old. If you are not 18 years old, you may still make purchases from us if you have obtained your guardian’s consent. We reserve the right to refuse orders of users who are not consumers and who do not make purchases only for their own use, and of any other order that we deem are not in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions. These General Terms and Conditions may change from time to time so please check these before making any purchase.
We do our best to check our website for malicious content, but we do not warrant that the website is free of errors. When using our website, the colours of products may vary and the pictures do not always give an accurate description of the precise look of our products in reality.
Orders
To place an order through our website, you must accept these General Terms and Conditions. By accepting the General Terms and Conditions, you undertake to comply with the terms and conditions in its entirety. You also acknowledge that you have read our policies on personal data and cookies, that you will find here or on our website under the tabs "Privacy Policy" and "Cookie Policy".
You can choose between the products available on our website. Once you have selected the product or products, you must add them to the shopping cart. When you are ready to order, you must fill in your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, the payment method you have chosen and the delivery option that suits you. You can change the content of the shopping cart until you have confirmed your purchase by clicking on "Confirm". Once you have clicked on "Confirm", your order will be sent to us and can no longer be changed. Fees such as shipping fees, customs fees and taxes appear when you have added the products to the shopping cart and are ready to pay.
After placing your order, you will receive an Order Confirmation to the e-mail address that you have filled in. After we have sent to you the Order Confirmation, a contract is formed between us. If, after having processed your order, we find that we cannot accept your order, we may cancel your order and refund the payment you have made related to the order. We can only accept orders from countries you find on our Help center under the catergory "shipping & delivery”. We recommend that you save the Order Confirmation sent from us for reference in any contacts with our Customer Service.
Free samples orders
We offer our customers up to two free fabric sample orders. If you want to order more fabric samples, we can deliver these to you with a shipping fee. Read more about our fabric samples on our website under the tab "Free samples".
Prices, Fees and Payments
The prices stated on our website apply only to orders placed on the website. All prices are presented in £. The prices do not include any customs fees, taxes or shipping fees, which are stated separately. The prices are subject to changes. Therefore, always check the final price of sale before sending your order.
You can pay for your ordered products by using any of the payment options listed on our website under the tab “Customer Service”. Your payment is handled with secure encryption and according to current rules. Information about your payment can only be read and handled by your bank.
Discount codes
We occasionally use discount codes as part of our marketing. These codes are valid only for limited periods and may be subject to certain conditions related to specific products, certain categories of products or for certain fabrics. To be able to use the discount code you must enter the code during the order process in the Checkout on the website. Only one discount code can be used per order. Discount codes have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash, vouchers or similar.
Delivery
You will find information about our various delivery options on our Help Center, including information about our prices for the different delivery options and the approximate time for delivery. The delivery time depends on where you live and on the delivery option you have chosen and are due to the policies and provisions of our delivery partners. The package must primarily be picked up by you in person upon presentation of valid identification and order number. If the delivery cannot be made due to you not being available to receive the delivery or if you do not pick up your package, we reserve the right to charge you for our costs for return shipping and for our administration costs.
On receiving your order, we recommend you open the box and check the products you have ordered straight away. Any questions or issues can be raised with our Customer Support via the Help Center.
Right of withdrawal
In order to exercise the right of withdrawal and return the products, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from our agreement by filling in our Return form before the withdrawal period has expired, i.e. within fourteen days from the day you received the products. Upon return, you will be charged a return administration fee.
To be able to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must:
- Fill in the Return form you will find here
- Return the products by packing them unused, unwashed, well packaged and without damage, in its original packaging and in a maximum of one package, i.e. products that you have received in several packages must be returned to us in one package. We recommend that you return the products by using the shipping labels provided by us.
- Include the receipt along with the product(s).
- Ensure that the products are received by us within thirty days from the day you received the products.
- Items must be returned to the correct address, stated on the shipping label provided by us.
Our fabric ordered by the meter, curtains, Söderhamn spare parts and Steamery products are not covered by the right of withdrawal and therefore can only be returned if it is defected.
If you exercise your right of withdrawal and have returned the products, we will refund the amount you paid for the products if nothing else is set out in these General Terms and Conditions. We will refund the amount as soon as possible, but no later than within fourteen days from the day we received the products. Returns and defected products
If the products from us are defected, we will at our option repair the defected products , replace them or refund the amount you paid for the defected products. You must as soon as possible and no later than two months after you discovered the defected products notify us with the complaint by filling in our Return form. In order for us to make an assessment of your complaint and the products, you must:
- With your complaint include a brief description of the defect and 4-6 photographs of the products where both the defect and the entire products is clearly visible.
- Include the order number or attach a copy of the Order Confirmation.
- Make sure that the products to be returned are well-packed.
Remember that you are responsible for the package until it has been received by us, so save your receipt for the delivery of the package including information about shipping costs and tracking number if available.
Once we have received your written complaint, we will process your complaint. If the complaint is justified, and if we decide not to repair or replace the defected products, we will refund the amount you paid to us for the products when you placed your order, including the shipping costs for the original delivery according to the same form of payment that you used for the purchase no later than within fourteen days after we have inspected the products. We do not refund any payment to you if the products are damaged due to something that has occurred when you were responsible for the products, if you have not followed these General Terms and Conditions or if the products in our opinion are not defected or if the defect is not due to us or to someone for whom we are responsible.
Any refund or reduction will be proportionate to the retail value of the products in the condition returned.
Guarantee
When you purchase any of our products that are covered by our warranty terms, a warranty of three years applies from the day you received the products. Should you discover defects in your products, please contact our Customer Service. If the defect is covered by the warranty, we will remedy the defect or, if we deem this not possible, deliver new similar products that replace the ones that you have ordered. If we are unable to remedy the defect or deliver new similar products as the ones you originally ordered, we will deliver equivalent products to you or refund the amount you have paid for the products. We pay for any shipping costs. Returns are handled by the delivery carrier used by us.
For the warranty to apply, the following conditions must be fulfilled:
- The products must only have been exposed to normal use in a home environment.
- The products must have been handled in accordance with our Care Guide, which means that you must have washed the products at specified temperatures, you should not have placed the products in sunlight and you should not have used dryers, bleach, stain removers or the like. What is not included by the warranty?
- General wear and tear and pilling over time
- Cuts, rips and breakages caused by improper use, accidents, or incorrect installation.
- Fading/discolouration or shrinkage caused by lack of or incorrect care in accordance to Bemz Care Guide
- Fading/discolouration caused by sunlight
- Natural changes in surface colour over time on wooden products as wood is a living material
- A warranty is not offered on repaired/replacement product where the warranty has already been used. Instead this item will be covered by the general right of complaint.
What will Bemz do to remedy the defect?
- When you report a defect, Bemz Customer Service will investigate it, and assess whether it is covered by the warranty. We will decide whether the defect can be repaired, partially replaced, or fully replaced. Bemz will assess and decide what a suitable replacement product could be.
- If the faulty product was originally purchased from our Outlet, we cannot offer a replacement as our Outlet products are ‘unique items’ that have already been made. We will offer a repair or partial/full refund.
- Bemz will cover the costs for the repair or replacement of the partial or full item, including the shipping fees to the country where the original item was delivered.
Our preferred suppliers
We recommend that you return the products by using the same delivery carrier that we used to deliver the products to you and that you follow the instructions that you find on our website under the tab "FAQ". If you use this delivery carrier, we pay the shipping costs for defected products. We can also track the package with the defected products. If you choose another delivery carrier, you will have to pay the shipping costs for returning defected products. You are also responsible for loss or damage to the products that occurs during transportation to us. We recommend that you keep the receipt from the delivery carrier and the tracking number if available.
Intellectual Property Rights
All rights to our trademarks, company name, images, domain names, our website and all content published on our website belong to Bemz AB. Any use of our website or its content including copying or other use of all or part of the content of our website is prohibited and requires our permission unless the use is entirely for your private use.
Personal data
When purchasing products from our website, you will need to provide personal data to us. You confirm that the information you have filled in is correct and complete. You are responsible for any errors in the information you have filled in. We will need to save your information together with the information about the products that you have ordered from us to be able to deliver the products to you. We recommend that you read our Privacy Policy that applies when you visit our website and use our services also without buying any of our products. You can read our Privacy Policy here or on our website under the tab "Privacy Policy". However, you always have the right to access the information we have stored about you. You also have the right to object to the registration of your personal data in accordance with the current data protection legislation.
Cookies
By visiting our website and by purchasing products from our website, you agree to that we use cookies. A cookie is a small data file that is used to keep track of what happens during your visit at our website and to recognize your computer. A cookie is not a program and does not contain viruses. Force Majeure
We are not liable for damages and other impacts on our deliveries of products to you if our delivery is prevented or delayed by such unpredictable events that are beyond our control. Such incidents may include government action, new or amended legislation, state of dissolution, fire, flood, work disruption, prohibition, restrictions, acts of war, terrorist attacks, sabotage, poor transportation, adverse weather conditions, non-delivery of supplies including disruption in the supply chain as well as shipment providers, pandemics, if any company that we depend on for a delivery to you is exposed to criminal acts.
Governing Law
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by Swedish law.
Disputes
If you have complaints related to your purchase of products from us, please contact our Customer Service. If we do not find a suitable solution for your complaint, you can, if the conditions for this are fulfilled, file a report to The National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) at http://www.arn.se/. You can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution process (EU ODR) at http://ec.europa.eu/odr. This portal may be relevant if you live in another EU country. When submitting a complaint, please include our e-mail address.

By responding with #MyBemzStyle you agree to that Bemz may use any pictures that you have responded to with #MyBemzStyle (the Pictures) in Bemz marketing and/or advertising, including but not limited to social media, newsletters, catalogues, galleries on Bemz website, emails and in other customer communications. Moreover, you agree to that Bemz may use your social media handle in relation to which you have responded with #MyBemzStyle on www.bemz.com, in Bemz stores and on any of Bemz platforms, including but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and printed publications. Bemz may use, reproduce, distribute, combine with other materials, alter and/or edit the Pictures in any manner in its sole discretion.
