This cover is tailored for the IKEA Söderhamn armchair and consists of 3 parts.

General information

The cover is designed to fit only the IKEA Söderhamn armchair with armrests. The model has a cover for the entire frame, including the seat section.

The minimalist Söderhamn covers are designed in one piece, either with armrests or without.

About the design

The cover comes in Minimalist Fit. The hem of the cover elegantly touches the floor.

Assembly instructions

• Remove the original covers together with the back and decorative cushions; the seat cushion can remain in place.
• Pull the cover along the backrest and over the armrests.
• Adjust the cover so that the corner seam aligns with where the back and armrests meet.
• Gently pull the cover over the frame.
• The cover is designed for a neat fit, so adjust both sides of the back and armrests simultaneously.
• Adjust the cover's seams so that they align along the centre of the back and armrests.
• Adjust the fabric so that it covers the seat cushions and let it drape down towards the floor.
• Align the cover's corner seams with the corners of the seat cushion.
• Velcro strips are attached to the back and armrests to hold the seat cushion and fabric in place.
• The cover is designed to touch the floor, adjust accordingly for a smooth fit.
• The fabric should be completely smooth when correctly attached.
• Pull the cushion covers onto the cushions, close the zip and place the cushions.
