General information

The cover fits the IKEA Söderhamn 3 seater sofa with armrests, model sold from 2012 onwards. Please note that the frame cover does not have pre-made holes for assembly, so in order to reattach the armrests, small slits need to be cut in the sides of the frame cover at the attachment points to fit the bolts.

About the design

Minimalist Fit with exposed legs. The fit combines the straight lines of Regular Fit with the pared-back simplicity of Minimalist Fit.

Assembly instructions

• Disassemble the armrests and backrest from the sofa frame and remove the existing covers.
• Before putting on the frame cover, secure the seat cushions with the included fibre textile part so that the cushions do not slide under the cover.
• Put on the frame cover and attach it to the sofa frame and the Velcro strips on the fibre textile part.
• Cut small slits in the sides of the frame cover at the attachment points to fit the bolts.
• Put the covers on the disassembled armrests and reattach them to the frame through the slits.
• Put on the backrest cover and reattach the backrest to the frame.
