The Modest Maximalist Collection
Born in an uncertain time, the Modest Maximalist Collection is an optimistic collection, designed to evoke a feeling of hope and anticipation.
With mid-century flare and a craftsy feel, the collection is an eccentric play on structure and tactile fabrics, in combination with confident patterns. A soft and earthy color palette is punctured by happy accents of pastel blue and yellow. In contrast with the streamlined Minimalist fit, the Maximalist fit features layers and layers of textile and with generous volume and whimsical embellishments such as ruffles and pleats.
Recycled linen is the hero of the collection, with a base of other natural fibers such as hemp and cotton. This unexpected combination of modest, sensible fabrics with a lighthearted maximalist design makes for a playful and surprising look, full of happy vibrations.

COTTON HEMP
Cotton Hemp is a rustic weave with a subtle fish scale pattern for an elegant finish. Available in 2 colourways - one neutral hemp colour, and one with the same neutral base colour but a light blue stripe.
BOUCLÉ STRIPE
Bouclé Stripe is a textured fabric in a natural shade, with a heavy bouclé yarn creating the illusion of stripes across the fabric. The bouclé yarn creates a playful yet in a natural look.
CHECK LINEN
Check Linen is a heavy 100% linen weave exclusively developed for Bemz. It is made from spun yarns and both feels and looks as exclusive as only linen could. The woven overdimensioned checks adds a playfulness yet keeps it elegant.
CLOUD LINEN
Cloud Linen is a double face fabric made of the softest washed linen and viscose, with a fantastic structure and drape. This fabric looks great on any furniture, but will suit our Loose, Minimalist and Maximalist Fit just perfectly.
RECYCLED LINEN
Recycled Linen is a 100% linen weave containing 50% recycled linen, an even more sustainable option for all linen lovers out there. With a beautiful drape and look, this prewashed linen transforms any furniture.
TOILE DE JOUY
Toile de Jouy is our take on a modern Toile de Jouy in a blended fabric with a base of recycled cotton and an accent of wool bouclé yarns. With a soft and textured surface, this fabric will give your space a classic feel with a modern ambiance. It is a play of old and new making it an eye catching addition to any living space.
CONSCIOUS MELANGE
Conscious Melange is a smooth weave with a beautiful melange look. Classic yet durable upholstery fabric made in 100% Rolefin, which is a syntetic fibre made from waste from the fashion industry, in a sustainable process with no water wastage.
Caring for your new covers
All Bemz covers have been designed to withstand everyday life and last for years. The covers in the Maximalist Collection are all machine washable at 30 degrees, using a gentle cycle, max 400 rpm. Do not bleach. Wash inside out, closing any zippers first. Stretch gently while wet. Only dry clean fabrics that specifically allow it. Do not tumble dry. Covers can be line-dried or dry flat as specified. They should only dry in the shade. Only iron fabrics variants that allow it, and then iron only in accordance with specific instructions, on low or medium, and only on the designated side. Finally, be mindful of the environment and extend the life of your Bemz covers by only washing them when absolutely necessary, try spot-cleaning first.
