Anna Möller - Winner of the Bemz Design Award 2016
Overall Bemz Design Award winner in 2016 and finalist from Sweden, Anna Möller attends Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. Her design - entitled För att Himlen är Blå (because the sky is blue) - is inspired by traditional Chinese ink paintings and is an homage to Swedish nature and its abundant fresh air. Anna’s designs were picked as the overall winner by our international panel of expert judges.
Lena Maier - Winner from Germany (student category)
Lena attends Deutsche Meisterschule für Mode Designschule in Munich. Her design - entitled Artiskok - represents abstract artichoke flowers and is complimented with bright, clear and contrastingly rich colours to create a Scandinavian style.
Charlène Juille - Winner from France (student category)
Charlène attends Ecole Supérieure d'Art Françoise Conte in Paris. Her design - entitled Flying on Ice - is inspired by the sharp, cracked icebergs and birds of Iceland. Her pattern was originally created in Chinese ink and watercolour playing on blue tones.
Roseanne Jack - Winner from the UK (student category)
Roseanne attends The Glasgow School of Art specialising in knitted textile design. Her design - Urquhart - is named after the sheep farm where she grew up.
Virginie Roblin - Winner from the public
Virginie is from France and her botanical design - entitled Vases Graphiques - is inspired by houseplants and 1950s designers (including Lucienne Day and Stig Lindberg).
